Our Studio
Little Heart Studio offers mobile process art classes for children, bringing all of the art materials and fun to private homes, schools, businesses, and event spaces located throughout the greater Washington, D.C. area.
On weekends, we also offer pop-up classes at Eastern Market, Washington, D.C.’s popular outdoor food and arts market.
What is Process Art?
Process art focuses on the experience of making and creating art, not the finished product. Process art is child-driven and fosters imagination, independence, and learning.
Meet Sara
Sara Lynn is a Montessori and Reggio Emilia inspired art teacher who started Little Heart Studio as an extension of her love for children and creativity. For more than a decade, Sara has taught private art classes for children living in Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Maryland. Sara believes childhood exposure to art and creativity helps shape children in profound and lasting ways, touching the way they think, feel, and see our world.
